10 Days Left - Recording Ends Tomorrow

Sweetleaf here wanting to send a quick update about how Diablo Royale is doing, it'll be quick, I promise:

First, check out Gman as this month's Gotham Rocks centerfold! You can see it on the facebook invitation for the event. He looks HOT.

Speaking of: the Gotham Rocks show will be our first show in almost 2 months so you should definitely come out to see us - it's on Sat, 6/6 at Crash Mansion. Come celebrate Satan's Birthday with us - it'll ROCK THE HEAVENS AND HELLS!

Also on the bill are 7 OTHER BANDS including our pals Shadows Lie, Zodiac, Charetta (CD release party), and King Hell who are hilarious and totally unique.

Soooo... since this is the end of recording the new CD, it's also the end of our self-financing fans-get-involved project. Recording Update & 3 Weeks To Go Till Showtime

HEY DIABLO ROYALE FANS!

Sweetleaf here, your favorite bass player, writing again to give you the updated scoop on your favorite band, DIABLO ROYALE!

First, the recording sessions for our new release are almost done! We've worked with three great producers/egineers, Eran Phillips, Dan Pfeffer from the band FEFF and CT Tamura from the band SHADOWS LIE. Our plan was to work with all of the producers who wanted to work with us, and see who worked out the best. As it turns out, we are really happy with the results from all of them, and personally I would recommend all three guys to anyone looking to do some recording.

The best news about this is that we can finally start playing live again and our next show will be SATURDAY, JUNE 6 AT CRASH MANSION in New York City. It's going to be another Gotham Rocks Showcase which means that for the price of one band, you get to see SIX BANDS! It starts at 7pm and ends around 2AM. So get there early, bring your earplugs, and get ready for an entire night of head-banging mania!

The other bands on the set for June 6 include our pals Shadows Lie, The August Infinity, Anodize, King Hell, and Charetta who will be using this show as their CD release party! Recording Update - 1 Month To Go

Hola Diablo Royale Fan!

Happy Cinco De Mayo! Okay it's a day late but we are musicians so we can get away with it. Anyway I wanted to take a minute and give you a little Diablo Update so here it is:

As you are no doubt aware, we are recording this month and it's going really well - no fatalities! Yet. We are almost done with our new fan favorite "Nothing Good" which is being mixed as I write this, and the drums are all done for the other four tunes: "Resistance", "He Who Serves The Serpent", "Beholder" and "Greedy Dogs."

Choy, Gman and myself will be laying down the important parts (bass and guitar) this weekend! Ha ha. Then Adrian will do the vocals afterwards and he is psyched to knock it out of the park.

We will be recording at Venture Studios in Brooklyn so if you want to stand outside waiting for an autograph, by all means knock yourselves out! Which leads me to my next point....

There is only one month left to become a DIABLO ROYALE MINION by getting involved with the recording. We are closing off all donations at our next show on June 6 (Satan's birthday - we'd wish him a happy birthday, but we're not really Satanic, we just use the name) So if you want to join in, NOW IS THE TIME! We have posted the super-secret album title in the facebook group that's open only to those who donate at the ROAD CREW level or higher. Plus naturally you get all of the goodies that come with it (merch, the album, VIP treatment, etc)

Mike has also followed my lead to be the next Martin Scorcese and has been videotaping the recording sessions and rehearsals - all the Diablo drama, comedy and action-adventure clips are there in that facebook group.
